How to Find a Wedding Videographer

Here are a few tips to help you find a videographer:

- I think the best way is to ask your photographer! Photographers work very closely with videographers at a wedding, and they can refer you to someone who has a similar style. You would also want to ask your coordinator and/or venue for recommendations.

- WedFACT is a wedding filmmaking forum whose members are generally talented and forward-thinking. Use this link and scroll through to find a videographer in your area.

- Do an internet search for your area's Professional Videographer's Association, and go to their web site. Click on "Members" and then scroll through the listed links. To get you started, check out the Houston PVA, the Austin PVA, and the DFW PVA.

- Finally, your last resort can be a Google search or browsing the listings in sites such as The Knot, WeDJ.com, Brides.com, The Bride's Cafe, WeddingWire, and Little Black Book.

Good luck on your search for the perfect wedding videographer, and if you have any questions I'd love to answer them!
