I'm so happy to announce that after five years of going solo, I now have a coworker- my husband! Business has been going so well that we decided it was time for him to quit his job and come work from home. It's been about two months now, and we both LOVE it! Brent's such a quick learner and he's proving to be invaluable. I kinda don't know how I made it this far without him! Plus, I really really enjoy being able to spend all day with him. I know we're still newlyweds, but I just never get tired of that boy.

Not only does it make my life easier and more fun, it's also beneficial to my clients. One, my turn-around time is shorter, because he is helping with preliminary editing. And two, he's able to be my assistant when I shoot weddings. Now I have someone to help me switch between cameras, drive to and set up at locations, hold my light at receptions, etc. His help makes everything run smoother and also results in better looking imagery.

Good news, right?
