Erika & Phil: The Videographer, Etc.

I don't think I've ever been so happy to be a wedding videographer. You wanna know why? Because it's my ticket to my dear friend Erika's wedding. You see, she and Phil have decided to have an intimate, family-only affair. And Erika and I happen to not be related. But alas, they needed a talented videographer to document the day so that everyone else could experience it, and guess who they called. Bingo! So now, though I'm not a bridesmaid and I will be seeing the day through the lens, I am so thrilled that I get to be there. And I'm excited to create a beautiful video of the event.

Speaking of, here are a few updates regarding the wedding progress:

1) Now this is a big one. You remember the contest Alex M had for free photography? Well, Erika read my post, entered the contest, AND THEY WON! Now Alex and I get to work side by side in Colorado to document everything, and Erika gets fabulous photos for next to nothing. I'm so happy for them!

(one of the photos they submitted for the contest, that shows the dollar they're going to use to pay for the photography.)

2) Erika bought her dress! She found it on Ebay, so she got a designer gown for one third of the original price. Have I mentioned how much I love Ebay? Oh that's right, I have, here and here.

3) They have probably found their location. It's not set in stone, but it seems that everything will fall into place for them to have it at a gorgeous resort nestled in a valley in the mountains. Although, wherever they have it will be perfect, because it will be outside in Colorado, with a lovely bride and a handsome groom and a handful of happy relatives (and one very excited videographer).

I've never been so happy that you're a videographer before either! You're so sweet, and I'm thrilled that your artistic eye will capture our wedding.
